Welcome to Little Sugars Maple Farm

Welcome to our blog page. Please click on the link www.littlesugarsmaplefarm.com to go to and check out our website, then write a note here on our blogspot. A Christmas gift from my wife, I am seeing this website for the first time today. As I learn how to navigate around this site, I will add news and pictures of the expansion of our operation; from the addition to the sugarhouse, to the acquisition of high tech processing equipment; and finally, more land agreements for maple sap in exchange for syrup or our pollination services.

We have about five gallons of Maple Syrup left from the sixty five we made this past spring. We just made another fresh batch of maple cream in both sizes. We also added maple sugar to our product list, finding the most adorable miniature Mason jars with a handle on them that can later be used as a salt and pepper set (if you have two).

We have come to the end of our honey season in rapid fashion. Even though we have increased the amount of hives we have by 250% this year (that's right, we went from two hives to seven) a wet spring and early summer have dropped our yields per hive significantly. We have ordered fourteen hives for next season, which should bring us close to twenty one hives depending on any winter loss.

One thing I would like to add is a place to thank those who drop in to help with the farm, friends who find joy in nature and fellowship. We can’t do all of this without your help. We know you find enjoyment in working outside and getting in touch with nature, we just want to say we find enjoyment in you!

Thanks,
Little Sugars Maple Farm
